Writing Home     The Bowmanian Chronicles     Forever Doom     No Presents for Christmas     Tales of Death     Sword of Demos

As far back as I can remember, I have had an interest in fantasy. I am not strictly speaking about the genre, but rather fantasy as it relates to all things fictional - to all things that stem from one's imagination. It can strictly be called fiction, but that word just doesn't give justice to what I'm talking about.

I began reading at an early age. I was surely ahead of the appropriate reading level by the time I left kindergarten. While that wasn't always the case, it further opened doors into the realm of fantasy. At some point in time, it made me want to write myself. By the time high school closed its doors on me, I knew that I wanted to do more than write short stories, poems, etc. that were class projects. I began a couple of novels back then. One was entirely original. One was fan fiction based on Street Fighter. However, despite my best intentions, life put a halt to my plans. I became distracted by many other things. That was 14-15 years ago.

About 4 years ago (after attempts to create through other mediums), writing came back into my life. I remember having many discussions with my friend Dwayne a few years back. We talked about many ideas. We even talked about collaborations. While those have not come to be, at least it re-ignited a flame. And while that flame remained on the low setting for several years, at least it was not extinguished.

While I did partake in other written works since high school, they were not of the creative variety really. For the most part, they were reviews and projects for school/work. I did write some song lyrics, but there are limitations there. Even a concept album limits the space in which you can tell a tale. Most stories deserve more.

So I sit here now with the satisfaction of knowing that there are no less than 4 projects on the go - with another one or two waiting in the wings. Some would say that is too many. Some would suggest to concentrate on one. Maybe some can not handle working on more than one thing at a time. I have known little else. Whether it be going through multiple classes at a time through school, or whether it be having to deal with multiple issues at work at one time, I am well prepared to handle more than one story at a time. I would even argue that it may be for the best. If I ever get stuck on one story, there is always another waiting in the shadows. And why the hell should I keep what is in my brain bottled up? Slamming the doors on an idea is wrong in my eyes. As the Meaning of Life teaches us, "every sperm is sacred". If a story requires birth into this world, who am I to abort its life?

While all this preamble may or may not be of interest to you, it is not the sole reason why you should be here. The main purpose of this writing section is to share my stories with you. I have not decided how I want to share each story with the world, but I will at least offer some sneak peeks. I am still in the early stages of publishing ideas. I may try to find a publisher, whether it be online or in traditional book format. I may try to self-publish. Or I may strictly offer the stories for free on my website (or another). I'm already doing it with my newest project.

And now for the list of projects. Each link will take you to a page (or site) dedicated to that story. Some links are not ready yet. Check back often.
